What the inspector wrote

On June 03, 2026 at approximately 8:40 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tso conducted an unannounced, case management visit. LPA met with Director, Angelica Luna. The owner, Jheel Jawharkar arrived at the facility at approximately 9.23am. LPA explained the purpose of the visit. Present in the facility is the Owner, Director, 6 teachers, and 38 children in care. The case management visit is regarding an unusual incident that occurred on May 28, 2026. Facility self-reported incident to CCLD on May 29, 2026. On May 28, 2026, at approximately 5pm, when the facility was transitioning the children from outdoor to play to indoor pickup, a child saw their mother in the parking lot and ran to the door to greet their mother. Another child (C1) saw their mother and ran after the first child. One of the children’s fingers were pinched in the door when the parent opened the door. LPA interviewed with the Director and a classroom teacher. The C1 was last day at the facility on 5/28/2026. There was no sufficient evidence for any violations. There were no deficiencies cited at this time under CCR, Title 22, Div. 12. A copy of today’s report was given to the Owner, Jheel Jawharkar . . Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the owner, Jheel Jawharkar .
