What the inspector wrote

On 07/09/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) German Negrete made an unannounced inspection for the purpose of completing a Case Management - Incident report. Today LPA met with site supervisor Alyssa Fisher. LPA informed Site Supervisor the purpose for todays inspection. LPA did a walk through of the Child Care Center with site supervisor. LPA observed at the time of the walk-through 13 children being supervised by 2 staff. The first incident under review occurred on 11/26/2024. Administrator contacted the department via telephone and reported the following: C1 went to the carpet area to lay down. C2 followed and went to lay down by C1. C2 began to kick C1. Then C1 responded by pushing C2 back with his feet. A teacher was able to respond by separating the children. C1 then ran under a table and C2 followed. A few seconds later, C1 stated to a staff-member \342\200\234C2 bit me\342\200\235. When staff went to check on C1, bite marks were observed on C1s shoulder. The second incident under review occurred on 12/4/2024. Administrator contacted the department via telephone and reported the following: C1 pushed C2 to the ground and punched C2. According to unusual incident report, both families were informed through electronic communication. Continued on LIC809-C T oday LPA verified both written incidents (11/26/2024 and 12/4/2024) were submitted to the department in the appropriate time frame as outlined in Title 22 CCR. Also today LPA interviewed staff and reviewed children's files. LPA requested additional documents(parent roster, staff roster, staff handbook, intervention plan for C1).The review of both aforementioned incidents is on going. Exit interview conducted and report was read to Site Supervisor Alyssa Fisher. Notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted in a prominent publicly accessible area in the center for 30 days.
