What the inspector wrote

On February 6, 2026 at 1:01 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Bill Billones conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection of the above-mentioned Child Care Center (CCC) to follow up on two Unusual Incident Reports (UIRs) received by the Department on 10/16/2025 and 02/04/2026. LPA met with Site Supervisor Christie Broesamle and explained the nature of the inspection. LPA noted 39 children present under the care and supervision of 8 staff. LPA and the Site Supervisor toured the center both inside and outside. For the UIR reported on 10/16/2025, a child (C1) was unaccounted within the center for approximately 1 minute during transition from outdoor play to indoor play. LPA interviewed staff during the inspection. The center has implemented a head count policy using white boards for head counts on all exit doors accounting for children, staff, and other adults present. For the UIR reported 2/4/2026, a child (C2) was injured that required medical attention. LPA obtained a medical report for C2 and interviewed staff. LPA notes the Site Supervisor reported the incidents in accordance with Title 22 regulations for reporting requirements. Based on the information gathered during the inspection, LPA determined that the center’s staff took appropriate action to meet the needs of C1 and C2 During today’s inspection, no deficiencies are being cited as a result of the incidents. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Site Supervisor Christie Broesamle.
