What the inspector wrote

On November 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gigi Reyes conducted an unannounced Annual /Random inspection at at the Family Child Care Home. LPA met with Lisa Adam and explained the purpose of the inspection. The FCCH operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM LPA accompanied by the Licensee, conducted a thorough tour of both the interior and exterior areas of the home. LPA observed 7 children in care. Safety equipment was reviewed during the inspection. LPA observed functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detectors which were tested at 10:30 AM. The 2 A10 BC fire extinguisher was serviced on 8/5/2025. Licensee and facility files were reviewed. Licensee\342\200\231s Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification is valid through 6/12/2027, while the Mandated Reporter Training is valid through 8/23/2026. LPA reminded of her responsibility to maintain current certifications for all required training. Children\342\200\231s records were also reviewed, Child 3, 4 and 5 have incomplete Emergency and Identification card LIC 700 immunization were not documented on CDPH 286 and in compliance with licensing standards. The Licensee does not provide Incidental Medical Services (IMS). IMS policy was discussed. For IMS information see PIN 22-02CCP. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department. Licensee, was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with licensee, with Lisa Adam and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. LPA also informed licensee, the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment. A notice of site visit was given to Licensee and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. Appeal Rights were given and explained.
