What the inspector wrote

On November 19, 2025 at 12:15pm Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elizabeth George conducted an unannounced case management inspection to license the new outdoor play area. LPA met with Lead Alicia Cardenas and discussed the purpose of the inspection. LPA along with Lead toured the facility. There were 11 children in the care of 4 staff. The purpose of the inspection was to inspect the new outdoor play area. At the time of the inspection, LPA observed age ap propriate toys and play equipment. The outdoor play area is fully enclosed with wooden fencing. LPA observed two separate yards separated by fence to prevent commingling of age components and regulation height (4ft) perimeter fencing to keep children in play yard. LPA checked fencing to make sure there were no gaps/holes or areas where children can escape. The flooring was observed to be compact dirt. No bodies of water; however, LPA observed the creek to measure approximately five feet in width and sixty-two feet in length, extending from the preschool yard to the toddler yard. The facility lead submitted a formal declaration outlining the intended uses of the creek an d the associated drainage specifications. Shading is provided by large Oak tree canopies and a pop up shade when needed. The entry and exit gates are secured by locks. Preschool Yard measures approximately 9,000 sq. feet which accommodates current capacity of 18 preschoolers. Toddler Yard measures approximately 3,000 sq. feet which accommodates current capacity of 8 toddlers. The new outdoor play yard meets Title 22 regulation and is licensed effective today, 11/19/25 Exit interview conducted, notice of visit provided and report reviewed with Lead, Alicia Cardenas.
