What Happened

The unannounced annual inspection found 9 children and 2 staff in care, with infants napping and older children outside. The home had required postings, working smoke/CO detection, a fenced backyard with age-appropriate play equipment, and current fire-drill documentation. The inspector cited missing or expiring staff and child record items, including a staff MMR record gap, and noted the fire extinguisher needed annual servicing.
