On 4/29/26 at 9:45AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Brian Fung made an unannounced inspection for the purpose of conducting a Case Management inspection regarding alterations of the child care center (CCC). LPA met with site supervisor Julie Santoyo and Fire inspector (F1) to discuss the facility sketch submitted to SBRO in 2023. LPA discussed with site supervisor and F1 that the facility sketch does not match with the current layout of the classroom and yard space for the children. LPA toured the area/classroom that are licensed. Program Director Michelle Holm joined the visit at 10:30am and toured the facility along with LPA, F1 and site supervisor. The current facility sketch showcases that there is 1 classroom for preschool age children (classroom 2). LPA, along with site supervisor, F1, and program director discussed that the facility sketch that is submitted to licensing in 2023 does not match with the current layout. LPA, site supervisor, F1, and program director observed the outdoor play space and observed that the outdoor play space does not match the facility sketch. LPA will contact previous site supervisor and teachers previously worked in the Lompoc location, who are now working in the Santa Maria Casa Dei Bambini location, for confirmation about the layout of the Lompoc site from 2023. LPA also received pictures from site supervisor, provided by the maintenance staff that worked on the outdoor play space in 2023, through email. Site supervisor and program director will submit to licensing department a current facility sketch that matches the current layout of the classrooms and outdoor play space. LPA will continue reviewing all incoming documents. Exit interview and review of report was conducted with site supervisor Julie Santoyo and Program Director Michelle Holm.
