On 3/2/2026 at 11:10 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gigi Reyes conducted an unannounced Case Management/Capacity Increase Inspection at the above Family Child Care Home. (FCCH). LPA met with Licensee/applicant, Amadelia Trinidad Chavez and husband, Juan Salazar Ramirez and discussed the purpose of the inspection. The FCCH operating hours are Monday to Friday from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Licensee provides care to children aged 0 to 12 years old. LPA and applicant/Licensee toured the home and observed 3 children in care. On February 16, 2026, Applicant/Licensee submitted an application to Community Care Licensing (CCL) requesting capacity increase from 8 to 14 day care children. On February 28, 2026, Santa Barbara County Fire Department granted the fires safety clearance for capacity of 14. It was noted that Licensee is current with the required training certificates. Because the applicant/licensee rents/leases the home, proof of landlord notification is required. The LPA observed the Property Owner/Landlord Notification form (LIC9151) that the applicant confirms was provided to the property owner/landlord. The applicant obtained a signed Property Owner/Landlord Consent form (LIC 9149). During today's inspection, no deficiency was cited. Large Family Child Care Home License (capacity of 14) was granted and effective today, 3/2/2026 Notice of Site Visit was issued and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with applicant/licensee, Amadelia Trinidad Chavez and spouse, Juan Salazar Ramirez. The inspection and report was translated in Spanish by Applicant's Licenssee's spouse Juan Salazar Ramirez.
