What the inspector wrote

Today, December 4, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Joaquin Mendez conducted a case management inspection. Licensee Aurelia Dolores Ramirez was not home at 2:30PM. Her father (A1) was in the home caring for the licensee's children (C1 and C2) waiting for her return. LPA explained who he was and requested identification from A1 and the names of C1 and C2. A1 called the licensee who stated she was on her way home. Licensee arrived at 3:00PM and was informed of the reason for the visit. LPA explained the supervising regulations during hours of operation to the licensee. The licensee stated she understood. The licensee stated she had to take her other daughter to the doctor appointment and closed her FCCH at 2:00PM today. Licensee submitted an increase of capacity from 6 to 8 children. LPA in the company of the licensee conducted a tour of the home inside and outside. LPA did not observe any other children in the home. The home was found clean and free of toxins. Continue on LIC809C The combination smoke and carbon monoxide detector were tested at 3:42 P.M. and were found operational. Fire extinguisher has a purchase date 7/20/2025. The licensee is reminded to service or purchase a new fire extinguisher annually. Because the licensee, rents the home, proof of landlord notification is required. The LPA observed the Property Owner/Landlord Notification form (LIC9151) that the licensee confirms was provided to the property owner/landlord. Licensee obtained a signed Property Owner/Landlord Consent form (LIC 9149). LPA reviewed rental agreement to verify control of property. The home meets Title 22 Division 12 requirements for a small family childcare license and is effective today, December 4, 2025, for a maximum capacity of 8 children. LPA reviewed capacity chart with Licensee. The licensee will maintain compliance with California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12. During the exit interview the Licensee confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders living in the facility and LPA completed the RSO profile in FAS. Notice of the site visit and appeal rights were given to licensee, Aurelia Dolores Ramirez. No deficiencies cited in today\342\200\231s inspection. The report and inspection were conducted in Spanish.
