What the inspector wrote

On Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 9 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Manel Estoesta a required visit. LPA met with the Childhood Development Center (CDC) Coordinator Vanessa Espitia. There were no children present during the visit. The School Age Program opens on the end of the school day at 2 pm until 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday in Portable Room G. LPA toured the facility to conduct a Health and Safety Inspection with the Coordinator. Furniture and equipment were in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Restrooms for children\342\200\231s use were observed to be in safe and sanitary operating conditions. Floors were clean and safe, and outdoor activity space were free of hazards. Playground equipment was in good condition. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons, and other items that are dangerous to children were stored inaccessible to children. All the Staff Criminal Background checks are manage by School the District. The Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
