Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Marilou Monico conducted an unannounced complaint inspection. LPA met with Site Director, Brittany Strange, and Administrative Staff, Madison Gates, and discussed the above allegation. During today's visit, LPA toured the facility, interviewed staff, and obtained copy of children's roster. LPA learned from interviews that the facility was out of ratio with 2 staff and 9-10 infants or 3 staff and 13 infants present in the classroom, therefore, the above allegation is SUBSTANTIATED, meaning the allegation is valid because the preponderance of the evidence standard has been met. Type A deficiency is being cited on the attached LIC 9099D form. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS GIVEN AND MUST REMAIN POSTED FOR 30 DAYS AS WELL AS THE TYPE A VIOLATION.
