On 6/3/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Liridon Fici (Doni) conducted an unannounced Annual Inspection and met with licensee, MCCROSSEN, MAARIT and informed her the purpose of today’s visit. LPA gathered a census during visit. LPA also reminded Director to make sure all Annual Fee’s are paid. LPA observed the required posted materials, including the Facility License, Emergency Disaster Plan (LIC 610), Earthquake Preparedness Checklist (LIC 9148), Parents' Rights Poster (PUB 393), Child Car Seat Law (PUB 269), Menus, and Activity Schedule. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6:15AM to 6:15PM. LPA did not observe any bodies of water during inspection. LPA reviewed five (5) children's file and observed that parent's rights forms, immunization records forms, consents for emergency medical treatment forms, and Identification forms are in each file. Staff files was reviewed for the following records: Statement Acknowledging Requirement to report Child Abuse (LIC9108), and Immunization Record showing immunity to measles (MMR), pertussis (Tdap), and influenza (or statement declining influenza). Director has a current Mandated Reporter Training and expires on 9/3/ 2026 . Director has current Pediatric CPR/FIRST AID that expires on 8/21/2026 . LPA informed that Mandated reporting and First aid/CPR is mandatory and should be renewed every 2 years. LPA observed that the teacher/child ratio was in compliance during today's inspection. LPA observed eight (8) staff and 76 Children during today's inspection; there were 8 children with one (1) teacher in 2's A room, 14 children with 1 teacher in 2's B room, 13 children with 1 teacher in 2's C room, 20 children with three (3) teachers in Pre K room, and 21 children with 2 teachers in preschool room. Page 1 of 4. Director understands the conditions, limitations, and capacity specifications of the Facility license. She understands that children should be always visually supervised. Any child(ren) who exhibit symptoms of illness including, but not limited to, fever or vomiting, are not accepted into care. Any child(ren) who become ill during the day shall be isolated in the office or outside area. LPA observed that the Facility is clean, safe, sanitary, and in good repair for children, staff, and visitors. The facility has a janitorial cleaning service that deep cleans on Monday-Friday once all children and staff are gone, along with a carpet cleaning service that comes in after hours. The director understands that the Facility must be kept free of flies and other insects & rodents. LPA observed that furniture and equipment is in good condition and safe for the children. Children have their own water bottles labeled with their name on them. When playing outdoors, there are water cooler stations for the children along with their water bottles. LPA reminded to check all plastic play structures for any cracks or/and damages that can injury a child in care. Indoor areas of the facility were inspected by the LPA today and observed to be clean, orderly, and safe for day care children. The infant and Pre-school room are physically separate from other childcare center components at the facility. LPA observed sufficient age-appropriate materials, toys, and play equipment for children. The changing table was observed to be padded, within arm’s reach of a sink, in good repair and safe condition. LPA observed there is cold running water, refrigerator, and microwave on the premises. Breakfast and lunch, along with snacks are provided by the facility. The Facility has trash cans with tight fitting lids for solid waste in the classroom. Cleaning supplies are inaccessible to the children and stored in cabinets located in areas off limits to children. LPA observed a complete first aid kit available in the facility. LPA observed a fully charged 3A40BC Fire Extinguisher ( Last serviced: 2/5/26). The last fire/disaster drill was conducted on 4/13/2026 which is compliant with the six-month requirement for facilities. The playground area utilized by children is surrounded by appropriate fencing and the outdoor surfaces are safe for the children. LPA observed that the outdoor equipment is age appropriate and in good condition. Shade rest areas are provided by trees and a canape. There are sufficient resilient materials on the outdoor playground area. Director states that the Facility does not provide transportation for preschool children. Page 2 of 4. Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. This facility provides Incidental Medical Services - IMS. LPA reviewed storage of "medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children's, personnel, and administrative records. Director stated they do accept children under 4 years old with IMS and with a doctors order, however, the center currently do not have children with IMS plans. Assembly Bill (AB) 2370, Chapter 676, Statutes of 2018, requires all licensed Child Care Centers (CCCs) constructed before January 1, 2010, to test their water (used for drinking and food preparation) for lead contamination before January 1, 2023, and then every 5-years after the date of the first test. For childcare center licenses issued after July 1, 2022, the Director shall test their water for lead within 180 days of licensure pursuant to Written Directives section 101700 (PIN 21-21.1-CCP). LPA verified that the lead testing was completed in accordance to the Written Directives outlined in PIN 21-21.1.CCP . LPA referred the Director to the Department website for lead: Lead Toxicity Prevention and Water Testing Information. Director understands that children's personal rights should not be violated, including no unusual punishment, infliction of pain, humiliation, intimidation, ridicule, coercion, threat, mental abuse or other actions of a punitive nature. A notice of site visit was given to Director and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days.
