What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Marilou Monico, conducted a Case Management Inspection in response to Licensee's request to change the capacity from 116 to 92 children in the preschool program. LPA toured the indoor and outdoor areas. The following measurements were taken by LPA Clifford on December 21, 2004: PRESCHOOL FOUR'S 2 : 32.000 x 26.249 = 839.968 minus 30.256 (encumbered space) = 809.712 THREE'S /PRESCHOOL : 35.083 x 28.249 = 991.059 minus 108.104 (encumbered space) =882.955 TWO'S 2: 26.747 x 25.249 = 675.335 minus 85.761 (encumbered space) = 589.574 TWO'S 1 : 29.664 x 27.249 = 808.314 minus 207.028 (encumbered space) = 601.286 FITNESS CENTER : 21.747 x 21.000 = 456.687 TOTAL PRESCHOOL INDOOR SPACE: 3,340.214 divided by 35 = 95 children PRESCHOOL PLAYGROUND 67.913 x 62.083 = 4216.242 44.332 x 30.332 = 1344.678 Preschool Yard: 5560.920 TWO'S PLAYGROUND 44.415 x 32.747 = 1454.458 32.498 x 28.166 = 915.338 Two's Yard: 2369.796 TOTAL PRESCHOOL OUTDOOR SPACE: 7930.716 sq. ft. divided by 75 = 105 children Continuation on next page: There are 8 toilets (120) and 10 sinks (150) for the children. There are two staff bathrooms. The staff bathroom located in the Reception Area will be utilized by the sick children if needed. The sick children will be isolated in the Director's Office and isolated equipment is provided. Cleaning supplies are stored inaccessible to children. LPA observed 118 cubbies, 18 tables, 98 chairs, and 97 cots for the daycare children. Fire clearance was granted on February 12, 2024. A license for 92 preschool children is approved effective today, February 15, 2024. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Assistant Director, Sarah Popovich. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND MUST REMAIN POSTED FOR 30 DAYS.
