On 11/15/2024 at 1:50pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jialing “Julianne” Zhu met with Director Ilana Gelemovich and Assistant Director Mykenzie Busser for an unannounced case management inspection . Present during the inspection were director, assistant director, 40 fingerprint-cleared staff, and 145 children in care. The facility is within ratio and in compliance with capacity regulations today. The purpose of today's inspection is to evaluate teacher qualifications. During today's inspection, LPA reviewed transcripts of 12 staff members. There are 11 preschool classrooms and three (3) toddler classrooms in operation. Upon file review, LPA verified at least ten (10) staff members are fully qualified preschool teachers, and at least five (5) staff members are fully qualified infant-toddler and preschool teachers. Based on teacher qualifications, each classroom has at least one fully qualified teacher with an aide to ensure teacher-child ratio is maintained according to Licensing regulations. For teachers who are not fully qualified teachers, LPA discussed with director the courses they will need to take in order to become fully qualified teachers. No deficiencies were cited during today's inspection. A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview was conducted, report was reviewed, and Appeal Rights were provided to Director Ilana Gelemovich.
