What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kate Huang conducted an unannounced Case Management visit today. Upon arrival, the licensee was not present; instead, two teachers identified as Meng, Xianghui and Cheng, Xiaoyan, were on site. The teachers stated that the licensee had been absent from the facility for several days due to personal reasons. There were seven children present at the time of the visit, including two infants. During today\342\200\231s visit, LPA interviewed the two staff members present and conducted a tour of the facility. Based on LPA\342\200\231s observations and staff interviews, the following required postings were not observed at the facility: PUB 394 (8/02) \342\200\223 Family Child Care Home Notification of Parents\342\200\231 Rights Poster, facility license, and LIC 9148 \342\200\223 Earthquake Preparedness Checklist. As a result of todays inspection, one type B deficiency was cited, see LIC809-D. Exit interview conducted with two teachers- Meng, Xianghui and Cheng, Xiaoyan in Mandarin. A copy of this report was provided along with licensee's appeal rights. Notice of Site visit provided.
