Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On the above date, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Liridon Fici-Doni conducted an unannounced 1 Year inspection. LPA met with Licensee, Leonor Covarrubias Torres and explained the reason for the inspection. LPA observed one (1) child in care. There is an area to post required postings, such as license and notification of parent's rights. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday 3PM to 11PM and Saturday and Sunday 7AM to 6PM. Licensee does have liability insurance. The proof of control of property is on file. LPA toured the inside and outside of the home with Licensee. The off-limit areas of the home are Master Bedroom, Bedroom #2, and garage. Disinfectant, cleaning supplies, and other items that could pose a risk to children were inaccessible. There are toys and equipment for children. There is a fully charged fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and carbon monoxide detector. The last fire/disaster drill was conducted on 2/11/2025 . Licensee stated that there are no weapons, such as firearms, stored in the home. The backyard and front yard is used. The backyard is fenced. Licensee understands that she needs to supervise children when using the front yard. There are toys and equipment for children. LPA reminded Licensee to check all plastic play structures for any cracks. Licensee does transport children and does have a valid driver's license. Licensee understands that children cannot be left alone and unattended in parked vehicles. LPA will continue Annual on a later date. A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. No Deficiencies were issued at this time. Exit interview conducted with Licensee, and a copy of this report review and provided.
