What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mel Matos met with Maria Navarro, Licensee/director, for an unannounced case management inspection. LPA also observed 17 napping preschool children with one aide (Maria Torres) and one volunteer student in the Facility during today's inspection. LPA reminded Maria that she needs to obtain copies of updated flu vaccines from staff each year or obtain signed flu vaccination "opt out" forms from each staff. LPA provided a sample flu vaccination "opt out" form to Maria during today's inspection. LPA advised Maria that she must have complete files for any staff person(s) that has criminal record and child abuse clearances & works directly with the children. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee/director, Maria Navarro. No deficiencies issued during today's inspection. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
