Inspector’s narrative
What the inspector wrote
On 06/20/25, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Jaime Gonzales and Angela Luz conducted an unannounced annual random inspection. Upon arrival, there were 7 children (2 infants, 4 preschool, 1 school age) and licensee present, which is compliant with the home license capacity and ratio requirements. The home was toured to conduct a Health and Safety Inspection. LPAs observed all required postings near the entrance to the home. Days and hours of operation are from Mon.-Fri. 8AM-5:30PM. The ages of the children to be served are 6 weeks-12 years old.
The home is neat and clean with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. The on limit areas of the home are: Kitchen, living room, bedroom 1, bathroom, backyard and left side yard. The off limit areas are: Master bedroom, master bathroom, bedroom 2, bedroom 3, sheds in the backyard and right side yard. Off limit areas are inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors and with visual supervision. The isolation area is the Kitchen. The outdoor play area is free from defects or dangerous conditions and is fenced. There have been no changes or alterations to existing building or grounds. There are ample age-appropriate toys that appear to be safe and in good condition. There are no bodies of water. All hazardous materials and toxins are kept out of the reach of children. Licensee states that any poisons are stored in garage and kitchen which is stored in an off limit or locked cabinet.

All cribs or play yards meet the safety standards. The mattresses in the crib or play yards are firm and covered with a fitted sheet that is appropriate, fits tightly, and overlaps the underside of the mattresses. Each infant\342\200\231s bedding is used for them only and cleaned weekly or before use by another infant. There are no loose articles and objects, bumper guards or objects hanging above or attached to the side of the cribs or play yards. LPAs reminded licensee that cribs or play yards cannot hinder entrance or exit to and from the space where infants are sleeping.
