What the inspector wrote

Staff stated that they will offer snacks to the child(ren),if needed. Staff stated that once the child(ren) has finished eating, the child(ren) will place any left over food back into their lunch box(containers) and wash their own plates. Staff stated that the child(ren) don't throw any of their food away so the parents or authorize representative can observe what their child(ren) has eaten. Staff stated that if a child does not eat their lunch one time, they may notify the parent or authorize representative, however, if it becomes consistent, they will notify the parent or authorize representative. Staff stated that when they observe a child wet (from water), they will have the child remove the wet clothing. Staff stated that children have a change of clothing in their cubbies. Staff stated that on occasions, they have encountered a child(ren)who did not want to remove their wet clothing, even though they encouraged the child(ren)to do so. Staff stated that when the child(ren)uses the bathroom, there is always one staff for supervision and to assist with any necessary hygiene services. Staff stated that if a child continues to cry after being dropped off at the center, they will take small steps to redirect the child by offering small group or individual activities. The children interviewed stated that if they are wet, the teachers will ask them to remove the wet clothes and change into dry clothing, and they encourage them to eat their lunches. Children stated that if they see a child cry at school the teachers help them stop crying by offering activities. Children stated that they like coming to school and like their teachers. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED . Notice of Site Visit was issued at today's visit and must be posted for 30 days in a visible location. Exit interview was conducted with Director Cindy Phung.
