On 03/11/2026, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Jennifer "Jen" Beehler, Janette Cruz and Harsimran Kaur conducted an unannounced Case Management/Other Inspection and met with Facility Representatives Jamie Ferguson, Brittany Strange and Cathy Jelic. The purpose of today's inspection was to verify the capacity increase issued on October 10, 2017 by obtaining updated measurements for indoor and outdoor spaces. Upon arrival, LPAs were greeted by the Director and provided access. LPAs provided the reason for the visit. There were 13 infants present and 5 staff which is compliant with the ratio and capacity requirements. LPAs toured and re-measured the on-limits areas and outdoor spaces at the facility. Infant Classroom measurements are: The Indoor total measurements contain a total of {748.45} square feet, which can accommodate 21 infant children. Infant Outdoor measurements are: The Outdoor total measurements contain a total of {827.61} square feet, which will not accommodate 21 infants. There are 8 feeding chairs, 1 table, 36 cubbies, 3 sinks, 2 changing tables and 16 cribs available for the infants. Director was advised that there shall be a minimum of one hand washing sink to every 15 infants and one potty chair to every 5 infants being toilet trained. LPAs observed and re-measured the designated napping area. Applicant stated that the current pony wall partition installed which divides current napping area and crib space will be adjusted to reduce the crib area space and increase activity area. Applicant was advised that per regulations 101438.3 Indoor Activity Space for infants - moveable walls or partitions, if used, shall be at least four feet high; shall be constructed of sound-absorbing material; and shall be designed to minimize the risk of injury to infants. LPAs notified facility representatives the following documents need to be updated and provided to the Department: Photograph showing the Activity Space/Nap Room partition Check for $25.00 for capacity increase LIC999 Facility Sketch with reduced crib space and increase of new activity space Waiver Request for shared outdoor activity space Updated LIC200A reflecting capacity change and any updates such as Director name Increase of capacity shall apply upon the receipt of the above documents and the completion of the following: Management approval of shared outdoor activity space Approved fire clearance reflecting updated activity space Final management approval No deficiencies are cited. Exit interview conducted with Facility Representative, Jamie Ferguson, report was reviewed and provided along with appeal rights. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS GIVEN AND MUST REMAIN POSTED FOR 30 DAYS.
