What the inspector wrote

On 05/05/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jennifer "Jen" Beehler conducted an unannounced Case Management/ Other Inspection. Upon arrival, LPA was greeted by the Facility Representative, Staff #1 (S1) and provided access to the facility. LPA provided the reason for the visit, toured the facility and collected the census. There were 16 preschoolers and six (6) staff (4 - teachers/ 1 - aide/ 1 - director) which is compliant with ratio and capacity requirements. The Director Jo-Ann Pangan is on a temporary leave. S1 is a fully qualified teacher substituting for the Director during her absence. LPA reviewed S1's file and determined the educational and work experience requirements were met. S1's Mandated Reporter training expires 12/31/2027 and S1 is certified for CPR/First Aid until 01/10/2028. S1 has not completed the 8 Hour - Preventative Health and Safety Course with Nutrition and Lead Poisoning training along with the Record Keeping Orientation class. Licensee, Danna Osborn stated the facility would assist S1 in the completion of these courses to ensure all Title 22 requirements for Director Qualifications are met. A technical assistance has been issued to address the missing certifications. No deficiencies cited. Exit interview conducted with Licensee. Report was reviewed and provided to the Licensee, Danna Osborn along with appeal rights. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS GIVEN AND MUST REMAIN POSTED FOR 30 DAYS.
