What the inspector wrote

On 09/24/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Jaime Gonzales conducted an unannounced case management to inspect the infant (Minnows) room playground and was granted access to the facility. LPA met with Assistant Director, Eowyn Flores-Ballesteros. LPA toured the facility and observed the infant (Minnows) room. LPA observed the infant room which is divided by half wall from crawling (left side of the classroom) infants to non-crawling (right side of the classroom) infants. On the right side, LPA observed four infants eating snack in a multiple feeding table and one infant sleeping in a crib with two qualified teachers and one aide. LPA observed the crawling infants(8) to the left of the room eating snack at the tables with one qualified teacher and one aide. LPA observed the infant (Minnows) playground. Assistant Director stated the playground has new rubber flooring, metal fence and was fence was extended. LPA observed the playground area utilized by children is surrounded by appropriate fencing and the outdoor surfaces are safe for the children. LPA observed a shed that is locked. LPA observed that the outdoor equipment is age appropriate and in good condition. There is sufficient resilient materials in the playground area. Shade is provided by trees and roof shade structure. LPA did not observe any bodies of water. Due to todays inspection one Type B deficiency is being cited. For further details please see the 809-D page. At 3:40PM exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Assistant Director Eowyn Flores-Ballesteros and Director Manali Doshi(via phone).
