Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Marilou Monico, made an unannounced Case Management Inspection to check staffing ratio and criminal record clearances. LPA met with Licensee, Rozhin Farahmand Poor and explained to her the purpose of today's inspection. Also present in the home were Licensee's adult assistant (S1) and six (6) children of whom four were infants and two were preschool age. Two of the infants were sleeping in the room, two preschool age children were in the other room, one infant in the living room playing and the other infant was in the high chair eating. LPA toured the facility both indoor and outdoor. LPA observed that all adults living and working in the home have fingerprint clearances associated to the facility. Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living in the home, persons who provide care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5-days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30-days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. LPA observed completed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224). As a result of this inspection, there were no deficiencies cited. A Notice of Site Visit was issued and must remain posted for 30 days.
