Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mel Matos met with Hsiao-Ying Cheng & Reginald Nazareno, Licensees, for an unannounced case management inspection. LPA also observed six day care children (3 infants & 3 preschool) in the home during today's inspection. Reginald inquired about when to apply for the increase of capacity request. LPA advised Reginald that the Facility "anniversary date" is September 6, 2024 and that the increase of capacity request along with a $25 payment (check or money order) can be submitted to the Department approximately two weeks prior to the anniversary date. LPA advised Reginald that the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety will need to complete and approve a fire inspection of the home prior to the Department completing its inspection. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee, Reginald Nazareno. No deficiencies issued. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
