Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On April 2nd, 2026 at approximately 9:55am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) April Wright conducted an unannounced complaint site inspection to deliver complaint findings. LPA met with Center Director Sahil Saini and informed them of the allegations against the preschool license. Allegations being Physical Plant. LPA took a tour of the facility for a health and safety inspection. Present during the inspection were 64 children (9 toddlers / 55 preschool age) and 11 fingerprint cleared staff personnel. LPA conducted interviews with director and staff. LPA conducted an additional inspection of the children's play yards. During the inspection of the toddler play yard, LPA observed a wood panel missing with 2 nails sticking out as stated by the RP. Based on the LPA observations and documentation that was received and reviewed, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 - Chapter 1 - Article 07 Section 101239(o)(1) is being cited on the attached LIC. 9099D. Exit interview was conducted with Center Director Sahil Saini. Appeal rights were given and discussed.
