Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 1/3/2024 at 1 pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Manel Estoesta conducted a subsequent complaint investigation visit. LPA met with the Director Mridula Gupta and explained the nature of the visit. The findings were delivered on this visit. Present on this visit were 3 staff and 9 preschool children. The LPA has investigated alleging that staff did not change C1 wet clothes before napping and did not change C1 diaper in a timely manner, and staff did not assist C1 on eating. During the investigation the LPA conducted a physical plant inspection, observation, interview, and record review. Based on the staff interview and LPA observation, the staff regularly check diapers on children who were wearing diapers, changed diapers as needed and assisted children in care on eating during lunch and snack time. Based on the interviews and information obtained throughout the investigation, the allegation is unsubstantiated. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegations is deemed UNSUBSTANTIATED. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted with the Director Mridula Gupta.
