On 7/1/2025 at 9:30 am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Manel Estoesta conducted a case management visit. LPA met with Director YUGANDHARA NIMKAR and the Licensee Krishna Kant and explained the nature of the site visit. Present on this visit were 4 staff members and 8 preschool children. On 6/18/2025 at approximately 10:09 am, a car crashed into the facility’s play area’s cement outer wall. The car was driving on West Calaveras Boulevard towards Highway 237. The cement outer wall was damaged. A staff member called 911, police and EMS came. The Licensee ordered for a contractor to place a temporary wall. A temporary wall was installed on the same day. The Director stated children, and staff were inside the facility during the incident. No children and staff were injured at the time of the incident. During the visit, LPA inspected the play area and the outer cement wall with a temporary wall. The temporary wall is made of wood, and appeared to be installed properly, and stable. The Licensee stated that a claim was submitted for the Licensee’s liability insurance to repair the wall. LPA will follow up on this claim. Also, on the LPA’s visit on 06/03/2025, Licensee was assessed incorrectly. LPA provided an LIC421IM IMMEDIATE $500 AND REPEAT VIOLATIONS instead of an LIC421BG CAREGIVER BACKGROUND CHECK. LPA discussed the LIC421BG and the Licensee understood. LPA generated an LIC421BG and provided a copy to the Licensee. There are no deficiencies cited on this visit. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee Krishna Kant.
