Facility-requested visit·November 4, 2021

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Dung Mac conducted an unannounced case management inspection to the Facility today in response to Facility\342\200\231s request to increase capacity from 45 to 49 children. A Fire Clearance has been granted for the increase on 10/20/2021. LPA met with Caitlin Clancy, Site Director, and explained the nature of today's visit. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7:30AM-5:20PM, serving children 2-6 years old. Director states that there were no changes to the classroom layouts since the last inspections on 8/14/2020; therefore, the indoor space was not measured during today's inspection. Indoor Measurements : Room 6 = 513.560 sq. ft. Room 7 = 442.062 sq. ft. Room 8 = 569.526 sq. ft. Room 9 = 270.430 sq. ft. TOTAL INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE: 1,795.578 sq. ft. divided by 35 sq ft. /child = 51 children (Measurements of Room 6 were taken on 8/14/2020 and Room 7,8, and 9 on 1/03/2008). There are 5 toilets (75) and 5 sinks (75) available for children to use. LPA observed 12 tables, 58 chairs, and 51 cubbies. Drinking water is available both indoors and outdoors. Director states that there were no changes to the layouts of the playgrounds since last inspection on 8/14/2020; therefore, the outdoor space was not measured during today's inspection. Outdoor Measurements: Outdoor Space Used By Room 7 = 1,300.398 sq. ft. Outdoor Space Used By Room 8 = 9,156.235 sq. ft. Outdoor Space Used By Room 9 = 798.000 sq. ft. TOTAL OUTDOOR SPACE = 11,254 sq ft divided by 75 = 149 children (Measurements were taken on 1/03/2008) Playgrounds are completely surrounded by appropriate fencing. Shade is provided by trees and canopies. No bodies of water were observed. LPA conducted an exit interview and advised Site Director that facility\342\200\231s request for capacity increase will be submitted to Licensing Management for the final stage of approval. NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED.
