What the inspector wrote

On 10/13/22 at 9:30am, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), J.Snow who met with Leslie Connect, office clerk. This program is operated by (public agency/Head Start) and a Title 5 funded program. Operating times are 7:30 AM \342\200\223 6PM, Monday\342\200\223Friday. They follow the school holiday except for the 8 week summer program. The facility was toured inside and outside and the floor and yard plan submitted by the licensee were verified. Facility operates on a school grounds in room #s 17, 21, 22 & 23. Twelve staff (8 teachers & 4 ai) were supervising 67 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. There are no pools or bodies of water on the premises. 5 children's records were reviewed at 10:30 am 5 staff records were reviewed at 10:45am. Leslie Connect was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per. The staff at the facility is printed through the school system as a condition of employment, This facility provides Incidental Medical Services \342\200\223 IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children\342\200\231s, personnel, and administrative records. There were no deficiencies cited during today\342\200\231s inspection. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee [or facility representative] (include name).
