What the inspector wrote

On 1/19/21 the licensee, Susan Wilson, denied the allegation that the facility is not kept clean, specifically the floor, the licensee said they sweep and mop the floor several times daily. She also said that she had freed up staff to do even more cleaning this year. LPA conducted interviews with 11 witnesses including 2 children, 6 parents & 3 staff. Staff explained the cleaning process and said they sweep floors and clean surfaces after each meal, mop pat least daily. No witnesses corroborated the allegation except one said the facility looked dingy therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. On 1/19/21 the licensee, Susan Wilson, denied the allegation that the facility staff do not disinfect toys daily, the licensee said the teachers clean the toys daily; they use some combination of spray disinfectant, soaking toys and wiping down the toys daily. LPA conducted interviews with 11 witnesses including 2 children, 6 parents & 3 staff. None of the witnesses corroborated the allegation that toys were not sanitized & none said the toys looked dirty, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. The facility provided a facility roster and staff contacts. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the findings are unsubstantiated. An exit interview was conducted. The Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 days.
