LPA J. Gifford interviewed seven parents (P1-P7) on 10/23/2023 and 11/22/2023. The parent interviews (P1-P3) and (P5-P6) were consistent with stating they have no concerns with diaper rash. Two parents (P4-P7) stated their child had a diaper rash once while in care. (P4) also stated the children are changed every two hours at the center. (P7) was interviewed and stated that (C1) had a bad diaper rash. (P7) stated staff did not change (C1) which resulted in the diaper rash and marks on the inner thighs. Based on the information obtained, LPA J. Gifford could not determine if staff did not change daycare child\342\200\231s diaper in a timely manner resulting in a rash. Therefore, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the findings are unsubstantiated. An exit interview was conducted, and appeal rights were provided. The Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
