It was alleged that staff was rough with a child; specifically a child said they were grabbed on the shoulder at nap time. . The director, Nikki Bull denied the allegation; she has never seen staff be rough with a child and she denied any knowledge on an incident. The director said redirection is the only discipline regularly used. The LPA did not hear observe any name calling during the inspection on April 7 or 17th. 4 Parents 2 staff and 3 children were interviewed and all denied knowledge of staff rough handling children therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the findings are unsubstantiated. An exit interview was conducted. The Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 days.
