Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 9/26/23, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) N. Cunningham conducted a case management inspection. On 9/13/23, four parents (P1-P4) shared concerns about staff providing adequate supervision. P1 stated their child lost several health required items that were essential to perform daily tasks. P3 and P4 stated staff neglected to wipe snot off kids’ faces or wipe food off kids’ shirts. P4 stated staff did not interact with children. Also, on 9/13/23, three parents (P1, P3, and P4) stated the facility was not clean and sanitary. P3 stated the nap cots were dirty, crumbs were on the floor, and the carpets were dirty. Parent 4 stated toys were passed around from child to child did not appear to be cleaned and sanitized. S2 and S3 both reported that the facility could be cleaner. The following deficiencies were cited: staff unable to meet the needs of children in care and facility is not clean and sanitary. See LIC809D. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the director.
