Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 2/29/24 and 04/24/24, LPA toured the facility and photographed a white board that documents when each infant received food and/or a bottle. LPA also photographed a daily changing log that appeared updated. During both inspections, LPA observed infants in care appear content. Two parents (P1-P2) were interviewed on 4/11/24 and stated they have not had any concerns about staff changing infants’ diaper when needed or staff feeding infants throughout the day. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the findings are unsubstantiated. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the director, Lisa O’Neal. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Appeal rights were provided. Based on the evidence obtained, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be substantiated. California Code of Regulations, (Title 22), is being cited on the attached LIC 9099D. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the director, Lisa O’Neal. Appeal rights provided. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
