On 7/25/24 at 10:30am, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Nicolette Cunningham. This program operates 7:00am-5:30pm, Monday\342\200\223Friday. The facility was toured at 10:15am inside and outside and the floor and yard plan submitted by the licensee were verified. The facility representatives were supervising 24 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. There are no pools or bodies of water on the premises. The property borders Shady Creek which is made inaccessible with a fence. Six children's records were reviewed at 10:45am. Three staff records were reviewed at 11:15am. The following deficiencies were cited: staff did not complete EMSA approved CPR/FA course (see LIC 809D) To improve the quality and value of the new inspection process, a survey may be sent to the email address provided. LPA also informed licensee [or facility representative] of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see PIN 22-02- CCP. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department.
