Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Glenn Ouye met with Penny Bowers to measure out the additional building at the facility. The interior and exterior activity areas of the facility were measured. The licensee intendeds to move her school age program with a capacity increase to this new location. The square footage was measured at 1,432 sq ft which supports 40 school age children. There are 3 toilets and 3 sinks for the children The other room will support a toddler option program which measured out at 871.70 sq ft. which will support 2 groups of 12 toddlers with a maximum capacity of 24 toddlers. The toddler option will be added to the existing preschool license The construction within the building is still under way The exterior outdoor play area was measured out to 3200 sq ft which supports 42 children. The licensee will utilize a rotation waiver with age appropriate equipment for the school age and toddlers. The licensee will submit a capacity increase for the preschool license (90 preschooler and 24 toddlers) on one application. Another application will be submitted for a location change and a capacity increase (from 30 to 40) for school age children. The licensee will submit the applications near the completion of the construction. No deficiencies during visit.
