Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst Glenn Ouye met with Sharise De Love who is relocating her center from 1101 Anderson Drive in Suisun City. The change of location application was received on July 12 2023 with a requested capacity of 88 children. LPA Ouye conducted a capacity determination by measuring the interior activity space, the outdoor activity space as well as the number of sink and toilets for the children in care. The indoor activity space supports the square footage for 48 children. There are seven classrooms, eight toilets and eight sinks. There is a separate staff bathroom. There is sufficient furniture, equipment and toys for the children. There are also a sufficient number of sleeping mats for the children. There are functional smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and a pull station fire alarm located in the large activity room towards the front of the building. There is a kitchen where staff can prepare meals and prep food for the children. The first aid kit is mounted on the wall near the laundry and mechanical room. The outdoor activity is comprised of three areas. All areas are completely fenced. The licensee will install gazebos for shade in the rear activity area. The front activity area has sufficient shade from trees. The licensing will be approved for 48 preschoolers pending the receipt of the approved fire clearance.
