What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Glenn Ouye arrived to conduct a visit to increase the capacity of the facility from 32 to 46 infants ages birth to 2 years of age. The application for the capacity increase was received by the department on September 6, 2022. The fire inspection was approved on October 5, 2022. The fire clearance has specific capacity requirements for each infant classroom as shown below: Infant room capacity: 10 children. Toddler room A: 12 children. Toddler room B: 12 children. Toddler room C: 12 children. Total infant capacity is 46 children under the infant license. The four classrooms were inspected. Each room has a changing table within arms reach of a sink, Children in the infant room have sufficient cribs for the napping infants. The children in the toddler rooms have mats for napping. There is sufficient furniture, equipment and toys for the children in all four classrooms. The capacity increase is approved for 46 infants effective October 12, 2022.
