What the inspector wrote

On 2/21/2023 at 10:15am, a Required - 1 Year inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Laura Chavez. and met with preschool Director Shawn Venable. The preschool operates during the traditional school year; 8:30am-11:30am; Monday-Friday, after care is provided until 3:00pm. The preschool operates at the Neighborhood Christian School. No children were present during today's inspection. There are no pools or bodies of water on the premises. Five children's records were reviewed at 10:50am, Five staff records were reviewed at 11:35am. Staff file review revealed Health Screenings for Staff 1, 2, and 5 are missing. Proof of required immunizations are missing for Staff 2, 3, 4 and 5 and current Mandated Reporter training is missing for Staff 3. Facility Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. This facility provides Incidental Medical Services \342\200\223 IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children\342\200\231s, personnel, and administrative records. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with facility Director Shawn Venable.
