What the inspector wrote

On 09/18/2025 at 10:31 AM Centralized Application Bureau (CAB) Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Jaelyn Agbayani and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Yang Yang conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for an increase in capacity. Upon arrival, LPAs met with Center Director Emma Hart. Applicant is requesting to be licensed for 24 Preschool Children ages 3 years old to 5 years old in the preschool classroom. Hours of operation will be Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM to 2:45 PM. Present during today\342\200\231s inspection were 19 children with 7 staff. Appropriate ratios and supervision were observed. All indoor and outdoor activity space utilized for the children were inspected today. LPAs informed Center Director that staff are required to maintain direct visual supervision of the children at all times during indoor and outdoor activities. LPAs continued to tour the facility and measured new additional indoor and outdoor activity space. Total indoor activity space 1153.20 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 24 children. LPAs observed all indoor activity space to be complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, napping cots/mats, and other activity supplies for the children. LPAs observed a total of 2 sinks and 2 toilets available for children\342\200\231s use. These are sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 24 children. LPAs observed all hazardous items to be inaccessible to children. There are no bodies of water or weapons on the property. Fire clearance was granted on 08/25/2025. Report continued on LIC 809-C. Page 2 The facility currently has a fully fenced playground area that is at least four feet high. The total square footage for all the outdoor activity space is 2424.02 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity. There are sufficient outdoor age-appropriate toys and play equipment available on the playground. There is a climbing structure on the playground for children which is properly anchored. There is adequate cushioning in fall zones of climber provided by woodchips. LPAs observed all hazardous items on the playground to be inaccessible to children. Center Director was reminded that any changes to the facility must be reported to and approved by Community Care Licensing. No corrections are needed. A license for 24 children will be granted and effective on 09/18/2025. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Center Director Emma Hart. Appeal rights were provided. A notice of site visit was provided and needs to be posted in facility for 30 days.
