Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

A case management visit was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Y. Yang at the request of the center director, Rebecca Hachmyer to inspect and approve a new classroom for preschool use. Previously, the facility used room number 18 for its preschool program. The facility licensee is requesting to switch classroom from classroom 18 into adjacent classroom 17. Classroom 17 has the same layout and dimensions as the former classroom. No other changes were reported. An approved fire clearance for the new classroom was received by the Department on 08/04/25 and the facility received tentative approval from the LPA to use the classroom on the same day. During today's visit, the LPA inspected the classroom and approved its use for the preschool license. The room is listed as \342\200\23417" on the updated exterior floor sketch obtained from the facility. The LPA observed that there is only one toilet in the classroom (similar to classroom 18). The LPA was informed that children have access to other bathrooms on the premises with staff supervision. This facility is located on the premises of Loma Vista Immersion Academy Elementary School. The facility representative was also advised of the requirement to test the new classroom's drinking water sources per PIN 21-21-CCP. The LPA provided technical assistance and answered questions related to Title 22 regulations. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the center director, Rebecca Hachmyer. There were no Title 22 deficiencies cited as a result of this case management visit.
