Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Glenn Ouye met with Director, Lisa Williams to conduct a capacity determination for the preschool program which includes the toddler component. Currently the toddler room (toddler component) is approved for 6 children. The toddler room has been measured and currently supports 8 toddlers. LPA Ouye spoke with the director and owner. They will be reconfiguring the floor plan (expanding the square footage of the toddler room). The total capacity of the preschool license will not change. An updated LIC200A for the increase of toddler from 6 to 8 children has been received. Also an updated LIC200A has been received to increase the toddler capacity to 11 children. The capacity of 11 toddlers can be changed when the room is reconfigured and an updated sketch has been submitted. LPA will need an updated facility sketch and a photo of the child safety gate which separates the toddler area. LPA and the administration also discussed increasing the capacity from 48 to 53 children. The capacity increase will take place at a later date. The facility is now approved to provide care for up to 8 toddlers effective 11/19/21.
