What the inspector wrote

An inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Amy Strother. The licensee and an assistant were supervising 4 preschool age children in the play room while 2 infants were sleeping in two different bedrooms in the home. During a tour of the facility, LPA observed the two infants, Child 1 and Child 2 (C1 & C2) sleeping in individual play yards. LPA observed C1 and C2 to have blankets in the play yards with them. During a facility visit on 12/15/2021 LPA reviewed the safe sleep regulations in detail with the Licensee. During today\342\200\231s visit, LPA again, discussed the safe sleep regulations with licensee and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. LPA also reminded the licensee of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment. The following violation of the California Code of Regulations, Title 22; Division 12, was observed: see LIC 809D. Appeal Rights were provided. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
