A case management visit was conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Y. Yang to provide technical assistance regarding Title 22 regulations and to verify the facility’s outdoor activity space measurements. The purpose of the visit was also to assess the facility’s request for a change in licensed capacity. The facility has submitted an application requesting an increase in capacity to serve up to 24 infants.The LPA met with Center Director Lisa Steindorf to discuss the facility’s operations, licensing requirements, and best practices related to maintaining compliance with Title 22 regulations. During the inspection, the LPA measured the infant play yard to determine the total available outdoor square footage and to ensure compliance with licensing requirements for infant care programs. The LPA also reviewed the outdoor environment for safety, supervision, and age-appropriate accommodations. A tour of the facility was conducted, during which the LPA observed the indoor and outdoor activity areas, furnishings, equipment, and general health and safety conditions. Guidance and technical assistance were provided regarding licensing standards, supervision, and maintaining a safe and developmentally appropriate environment for children in care. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the center director, Lisa Steindorf. There were no Title 22 deficiencies cited during today's inspection.
