Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Glenn Ouye met with Kristina Sisseck to conduct a capacity determination visit and to consult regarding the addition of another classroom which will allow the licensee to operate a toddler option which will be added in the future. Topic of discussion: The licensee is adding room six to the existing rooms (7, 8 and 9). The toddler option will operate out of room 7. The square footage of the four classrooms will support 12 toddlers when the licensee submits and application for the toddler option for 12 toddlers in addition to the existing capacity of 54 preschool children. The outdoor activity area square footage is also sufficient to support the additional children to the current capacity. There is age appropriate toys and equipment for both age groups. The licensee plans to use a rotational waiver between the toddler and preschool age children. There are eight toilets and ten sinks for the children. The licensee will first submit an application to add room 6 to the preschool program. Upon receipt of the application to add the classroom, the department will request a fire inspection from the local fire inspector. Room 6 will be added to the license after the fire inspection and the room is inspected by the department. LPA Ouye was provided an LIC200A and a facility sketch to add the room to the license. No deficiencies during the visit.
