Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Robert Maciel and Jaelyn Agbayani made a licensee initiated case management visit for the purpose of reviewing new classrooms for facility use and met with Area Manager Matt Roark. On 6/27/25, the department received a request to add 16 rooms. The facility operates on Valley Vista Public Waldorf School as a before and after-school program. The rooms are 4, 5, 7, 8, 9,11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23 and the Library. An updated fire clearance was requested on 6/27/25 for the same capacity of 120. The fire clearance was granted on 7/30/25 for a capacity of 120. During today's visit, LPAs reviewed each room and measured the square footage to confirm capacity. Rooms 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, and 14 are identical in square footage and are measured to be 742.35 square feet, rooms 16, 18, 19, and 20 are identical in square footage and are measured to be 870.26 square feet, rooms 22 and 23 are identical in square footage and are measured to be 804.93 square feet, and the library is 844.09 square feet which in total measures to 4247.96 square feet which can accommodate 120 children. 25 children were present at the facility. The requested rooms are being utilized as backup rooms in case of unavailability of existing licensed rooms. The requested rooms are appropriate in accommodating capacity. The current capacity is not affected. This report was read and reviewed with Area Manager Matt Roark. No deficiencies were observed during today's visit. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
