Pre-licensing visit·June 24, 2022

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Glenn Ouye returned to Gnomies preschool center to verify items that need to be completed since the prior prelicensing visit. The City of Sebastopol installed a metal plate over the main walkway entrance as a temporary walkway. The City will be removing a large tree and roots which required the walkway to be removed just prior to licensure. The city said that after the tree is removed they will install an asphalt or cement sidewalk leading to the centers main entrance. The rear fence in the outdoor activity area has been nailed shut and will not be an access to the duck pond. The entire outdoor area now has a see through five foot fence that meets regulations. The licensee has cleaned the rear deck and front deck of all of the duck droppings and will continue to clean with areas that have duck droppings on a maintenance basis. The facility is now in compliance and the applicant has demonstrated sufficient knowledge of regulations. Gnomies preschool center is approved for licensure effective June 24, 2022.
