Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Glenn Ouye arrived to conduct a capacity increase case management visit for this infant program. The application for the capacity increase was received by the department on July 26, 2024. The licensee is requesting an increase from 8 infants to 12 infants due to an expansion of the building. The facility has 4 classrooms, one of which has a crib area. The indoor and outdoor activity space square footage was measured and there is sufficient square footage for 12 infants. A single fire clearance from the Rancho Adobe Fire Protection District was granted for the preschool and infant licenses. The fire clearance is approved for 24 preschoolers, 6 toddlers and 12 infants. The total capacity is approved for 42 children. The fire clearance was granted on May 21, 2024. There are sufficient equipment to support the increased capacity. The capacity increase for the infant license from 8 to 12 infants is approved effective today, August 7, 2024. An updated license reflecting the new capacity will be sent to the licensee.
