A case management visit was conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Y. Yang to review the facility’s licensing status and discuss the requested operational changes. During the visit, the LPA met with facility representative Teresa Diaz and provided technical assistance and guidance regarding applicable Title 22 regulations, licensing procedures, and capacity requirements for child care centers. Title 22 regulations require facilities to operate within the conditions and limitations specified on the license, including approved age components and licensed capacity. On April 16, 2026, Community Care Licensing received a written request from the facility administrator to place Head Start - Guillory (Facility #4930101252) on inactive license status. This facility shares the same address and building as Head Start - Martinez & Guillory (Facility #493008113). In addition, the administrator submitted a request to modify the components served and adjust the licensed capacity for Head Start - Martinez & Guillory. The proposed modification would allow the facility to serve 20 preschool-age children and 16 toddlers, for a total licensed capacity of 36 children under the single license. Currently, the 16 toddlers are served under the Head Start - Guillory license. Per the administrator, the requested changes are intended to consolidate services under a single license while maintaining compliance with Title 22 regulations. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative. There were no Title 22 deficiencies cited during today's inspection.
