Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

A case management licensing visit was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Y. Yang at the request of the licensee to provide technical assistance and inspect and approve previously designated off limits areas of the premises for childcare use. The licensee is requesting approval to use a converted shed in the backyard as an activity space and classroom for awake children. Additionally, the licensee is requesting approval to add the home's master bathroom to its on limits childcare areas. The adjacent master bedroom is currently on limits and used as a nap room. The LPA inspected these two areas and approved them for childcare use. Currently, the home's garage and bedroom #2 are listed as off limits. All other areas of the home are approved for childcare use. The licensee also requested to use a fenced side yard on the left side of the home as a pathway connecting the front yard and back yard. The licensee stated that children will always be escorted when passing through this area. During today's inspection visit, no hazardous items were observed in this side yard. The licensee stated that she understands that the side yard shall be kept free of hazardous items if used as a walkway by children in care. An updated yard sketch was obtained from the licensee. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Jenny Beament. There were no Title 22 deficiencies cited during today's inspection.
